I came across the reference photo by James Eades and I instantly fell in love with it. My mom passed away a year and a half before and she loved elephants. Looking at the image it gave me such a special feeling that I just had to do something with it. Mum’s Boy came to life after putting about 40 hrs of loving work into it. The original has was done in Pastels.
